Welcome to WoEvery morning, I walk through the lush green landscape of Saandeepani. The soft rustling of leaves, the sight of crisp raw mangoes hanging from friendly trees, and the cheerful calls of unique birds welcome me into the administrative block.
I pass students already seated in the waiting lounge, having arrived before time. Others hurry from the bus stand, their steps full of purpose. Along the way, a warm “Namaskara!” echoes—a greeting shared by all.
In their classrooms, students quietly settle down with a newspaper or a novel—sometimes one prescribed for Habba, other times a book of their choice. This naturally flows into a reflective circle time, gently led by the class teacher.
Throughout the day, students move from one academic or co-curricular activity to the next, pausing only for two well-deserved breaks to recharge. The day ends just as thoughtfully—with a short, grounding session with their class teacher.
While this might sound like a well-orchestrated routine, here’s the surprising part: not a single bell rings all day. No shrill reminders or alarms. Every transition happens seamlessly—students and teachers alike are mindful of the time, their responsibilities, and the shared rhythm of the school.
And dear reader, does the title ring a bell?
