When I began my journey as a Math teacher at Saandeepani, I never imagined how deeply it would shape me. From the very first day, I found myself drawn to the joy of learning alongside children. Their enthusiasm, curiosity, and honest questions inspired me to experiment with new ways of teaching.
Over the years, I’ve discovered that Math becomes truly meaningful when students understand the reasoning behind it. I love exploring innovative methods—whether through hands-on activities, creative videos, or simple experiments—to help them internalize each concept. Encouraging them
to ask “why” has become one of the most fulfilling parts of my teaching.
In my free time, people often find me solving problems from textbooks, workbooks, and reference guides. It’s my way of keeping my mind active and staying connected with the subject I love. But the greatest reward of all comes in the form of a simple sentence from a student: “Ma’am, you are the reason I love Math.”
That one line reminds me why I chose this profession—and why I continue to cherish every moment of it.
